Big screen time for Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan) in Alpha Papa. Coogan is a star in UK but may be known better to Americans from Jim Jarmusch's Coffee and Cigarettes (long version) or the highly amusing The Trip from a few years back (go watch that then come back... cringeworthy good). Coogan, and his alter-ego Patridge have bumbling squirm in your seat cringe pretty much corned.
This Alpha Papa looks to perhaps rehash commentary on action movies and police militarization that have already been done in Hot Fuzz - but hopefully there is a just a lot of Patridge. I am siegeface! Ok should back up a second - Alan Partridge is a small town radio talk show DJ. Ok now watch...
